The word autodidaktos means “self-taught” in Ancient Greek (M-W). It is Latinized to the word autodidactus after which I named this blog.
I am a university student studying mathematics in the United States. After mathematics, I am very interested in a wide variety of subjects including computer science, languages, chemistry, art, et cetera. I have systematically and casually studied many topics out of curiosity and I intend to record my continuing endeavors on this blog. Perhaps this blog will motivate me to review my past studies and convert my notes into a readable form.
I should mention that my endeavors are not strictly “autodidactic” since I actively communicate with experts and I have several mentors who regularly advise me.
Moreover, I plan to limit my articles to topics outside of my main realms of study so that I will be motivated to keep up with my readings in less familiar subjects.
